PRIME RECORDS presents KB/BONUS there music has a wonderful mixture of city & international soul with sweet funky hooks and clever klimaxes. It has constantly flourished creating blues, funky sounds that your ears can't resist, guitar licks that make you smile and bass lines that keep your head bobbin'.It consist of members from FILTHY RICH COLD CASH project. Beginning with a new idea for turn tables loops rapp to have a place in the band FRCC was formed. The named stood for the many facets of music that made up the group KB played wrote a time less love ballad , Never Let you Go featuring Ron Massy. Launching his own record label in 1997 and publishing company a few years later, Prime Records & BELK Publishing was born. KB earn writers status and publishing honors with ASCAP. He is still in charge of his music and company. This performer band leader has set high goals. He says his music i-cons are Jimi Hendrix, Bootsy Collins Prince.He goes on to say. There are many artist of old and new whom have inspired him. KB/Bonus, there sound is sweeping its way into homes businesses and entertainment venues across America. KB loved hearing his grandmother sing old gospel hyms. After beginning school his love for a instrument sparked when he was introduce to a recorder (flute) and later began studying b flat and bass Clarinet. He recalls to me the first guitar he ever touch a guitar That does not sound like but,once you hear and /see KB Bonus enjoying doing there thing, Then you will understand that it was a memorial day.
This entertainer enthusiasm is second to none. He says, he is just playing by the rules Today we need true music and this demands a true musicians /music lover.
